The best way is to use the Japanese beautiful vivid vermillion ink (朱肉 Shuniku) pad of Shachihata Inc. Quick dry ink, compact size 30 x 30 mm.

* If you want to stamp with other colors,  you can use water colour ink on the stamp by small brush as same as Japanese traditional woodcut printing.
